The site is growing rapidly. We are up in every category: Unique Visitors, Returning Visitors, and Page Loads. We have visitors all across the United States (Canyon Country, Cali / Rochester NY / Houston, Texas / Cartersville, Ga / Detroit, Michigan / etc…) and even out of the United States (Osaka, Japan , Jamaica, Canada, France, ireland, Switzerland, etc…).

The goal of this site is to provide our readers with the type of Access (to this entertainment industry) that they would not normally get at other sites. I am sure that you guys (if you pay attention) know that we are affiliated with Jermaine Dupri, so with that being said… we are going to utilize his contacts, connections, and affiliations to provide you with ACCURATE and up to date info and exclusives.

It is not our goal to be a RUMOR site. The closest thing that you will find in that realm is the contributions from the Gossip Girlz (and even they don’t really “go in” like that with rumors). Since we are involved in this industry, and we know most of the people who make their living off of it… we are a little more sensitive to the reckless threads that many blogs throw on their sites. I was recently in the Bahamas and saw this women (yes you read correctly…not a child) with some Hi Nike Dunks on and I had to stop and compliment her…I do give credit when credit is due! She rocked them with some jeans and a beater and a baseball cap.

Now I’m not a chick that usually gets down with the sneaker look (more of a heel chick), but her Dunks were on point!

So this goes out to all the chicks that can pull the Dunk look off and still look nice while doing it!

Natasha over at YBF broke the news first about this nasty custody battle…such a shame.  

NBA Star Joshua (Josh) Powell of the Los Angeles Clippers is in nasty custody battle with his ex-fiance’ Emily Perich over their daughter Patience. Josh is alleged to be keeping Patience from her mother and keeping her in the care of his multiple jump-offs, different men and ill family members. The custody battle is in Dallas, Texas (where they previously lived) even though both parties live in Los Angeles, California. According to court recordings, Joshua doesn’t even know the last names of the individuals that he has caring for his daughter in his absence. [Link]

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Former NBA player Isaiah Rider must appear in court next month after being arrested for driving a stolen car.The 37-year-old Rider was arrested early Saturday morning for investigation of auto theft and was released from Los Angeles County jail in the afternoon. The sheriff’s department Web site said he had been held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Rider, who could not immediately be reached for comment, is scheduled to appear in court April 23.

Officer Norma Eisenman said Rider was driving a car that failed to stop at an intersection in the city’s Skid Row district. Officers checking the license plates discovered the car had been reported stolen from South Los Angeles, police said. Rider was arrested and the car was impounded.

Rider played at UNLV before starting his pro career in 1993. He played with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets before ending his career in 2001.

Rider had a string of arrests during and after his career for drug use, assault and other crimes. He also racked up large fines and suspensions during his career for offenses that ranged from being tardy to practice to spitting at fans.

Rapper-actor T.I. dining with family at Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Centennial Park hours after he pled guilty to weapons charges — with MTV cameras rolling. (You know, he did tell the AJC a few years back that he enjoyed the broccoli au gratin there.) Anyway, apparently now that the Grammy winner has a year before he is sentenced to (an expected) 366 days behind bars, he can focus on the business of promoting his next album. (In between his 1,000-plus hours of community service, that is.)

T.I.’s longtime collaborator DJ Toomp told us he will be executive producer of the upcoming CD, titled “Paper Trail”. “And it’s coming along really well,” Toomp said. “People who’ve heard some of it are comparing it to [late rapper 2Pac’s] ‘Me Against The World’. ” Frank Ski of V-103’s “Frank and Wanda Morning Show” said that he’s in the studio working on music for T.I. as well. “I’ve been to visit him since he’s been on house arrest and I got a lot of good visions from him, and the place he is in his life now. I’m really excited,” Ski said. “People have been asking me when I was going to get back into producing, and this may be the time.” (As anyone who listens to his show regularly knows, his co-announcer Wanda Smith frequently jokes with him about his early ’90s hip-hop production, “Doo Doo Brown”).

LOS ANGELES — Rihanna and Chris Brown both walked the orange carpet at the Kids’ Choice Awards. Separately. “We’re not in a relationship or anything,” Brown told The Associated Press before Saturday’s slime-filled ceremony.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks the R&B singers are dating, but Brown was quick to squash such gossip, insisting he was single and Rihanna was just a friend. The 18-year-old “Kiss Kiss” crooner, clad in a custom-made orange hoodie emblazoned with a blingin’ Nickelodeon logo, later collected a trophy for favorite male singer.

Rihanna, 20, bypassed the press line before the awards ceremony, strutting down the carpet in a polka-dot corset top.

For those of you that haven’t heard….. 

LOS ANGELES — Kimora Lee Simmons has already moved on, but she took steps to make it official by filing for divorce from her husband of seven years, entertainment mogul Russell Simmons.

Although the couple separated in March 2006, Kimora Lee Simmons just filed divorce papers Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The 32-year-old Baby Phat fashion designer and reality TV star cited irreconcilable differences.

She and Russell Simmons, 50, have two daughters: 8-year-old Ming Lee and 5-year-old Aoki Lee. Kimora Lee Simmons is seeking legal and physical custody of the children. She requested that Russell Simmons be granted “reasonable child visitation … accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”

Russell Simmons co-founded Def Jam records and created Phat Farm clothing and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.”

Kimora Lee Simmons has been dating actor Djimon Honsou.
