Traitor
This drama stars Don Cheadle as Samir Horn, an ex U.S. Special Operations officer who is thought to be the head on an international conspiracy due to his connections with various terrorist organizations. It looks like it will do well, but we shall see. Traitor hits theaters August 27, 2008.

This is Tyler Perry film looks to be a little edgier than any of the previous films. It seems as if he’s straying a bit from his signature motifs which may prove to be a good thing. TFTP has a star studded cast including writer & director Tyler Perry, the beautiful Sanaa Lathan, Academy Award nominee Alfre Woodard, Rockmond Dundar (Soulfood: The Series), Taraji P. Henson (Baby Boy), Robin Given, and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates. Two close families struggle to maintain order as manipulation, lies, and scandal threaten to reveal underlying secrets. The Family That Preys hit theaters September 12, 2008.

Hadn’t heard anything about Traitor but I like Don Cheadle so it should be worth checking out.
I applaud Tyler for giving black actors and actresses employment (b/c we all know scripts are limited for us) BUT enough already with these movies. Will wait for DVD release to watch with my mother/grandmother or something
