Robin Thicke Listening Party In MIA

So Gossip Girl #2 decided to get some fun and relaxation down in the southern part of the country despite Tropical Storm Fay bringing about all sorts of havoc.

At the last minute I boarded a flight to good ole MIA after much prodding from my friends at Urbane Jetsetter to come down and catch the Robin Thicke album listening event. After a wonderful dinner at Ago, I headed over to the Florida Room at the Delano Hotel where the event was to take place. The drinks were nonstop and the lounge filled up quickly with excited fans to see and hear Robin Thicke debut new music from his up and coming album, ‘Something Else,‘ which drops September 30^th.

Despite the fact that Mr. Thicke only performed 3 songs which only 1 of them was from the new album, he sounded great and the fans were actually alright with that. If he would have pulled that in the ‘A’ I cant say the reaction would have been the same.

Well, shout outs to Mr. Thicke’s lovely wife Paula, who was their representing her man to the fullest and to Alonzo and Tracey Mourning that were definitely getting their 2 step on.

Thanks again to my friends at Urbane Jetsetter the weekend was classy and definitely one to remember. So until next time CIAO!
