Imagine being at work on a busy trading floor, it’s blazing outside and your stomach is cramping from hunger pains. You are definitely ready to go and its only noon. You’re bored out of your mind, and guess what? You’re super-stalker-employer has blocked Perez Hilton just when you started to get addicted.

There’s always your crackberry.

So you go for a walk. As soon as you hit the sidewalk, who do you run into? Jada Pinkett-Smith, the flyest 5-footer in the game. Then you realized, you’ve walked right on to the set of a major movie.

I must admit, I am one of those people that sleep on Will Smith when the conversations come up about Black Star Power. This dude has Money, Fame, popularity, Power, and A BAD WIFE!!!!! Damn… just think… he started off as a RAPPER. I can very easily see him running for Political Office one day. He has conquered music (platinum status), conquered television, conquered movies… his latest accomplishment - $107 Mil opening week for Hancock.

Ice Cube, Mike Epps, and Terry Crews will team up again in ‘Janky Promoters’. The film will be directed by Marcus Raboy, who worked with them in the 2002 comedy ‘Friday After Next’.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Janky” follows the shenanigans of a pair of shady concert promoters (Cube and Epps), self-described “Modesto’s finest,” who get in over their heads when they get a shot at booking a big-name hip-hop act (an actual rapper whose deal was closing Tuesday). Complications come in the form of a pot-growing neighborhood nemesis named Mondo and Cube’s character’s son (Nickelodeon star Little JJ), who is under contract with the old man.

Shooting begins Monday in Sherman Oaks, though the movie is set in Modesto, Calif., and takes place in a single day.

“It’s Cube going back to his roots as a writer and an actor,” Raboy said. “He’s writing about a world that he knows.”

Added Raboy: “It’s cut from the same stone as ‘Friday.’ It’s definitely new characters and a new world here, but it’s of the same vibe. It’s gonna be grounded but colorful. We’re not tryiing to do broad comedy; we’re trying to do comedy with an edge.”

Connor Cruise, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s son, will make his film debut in the upcoming Will Smith drama Seven Pounds.

Connor, 13,  will play a young version of Smith in a very minor role. Connor had to audition for the part even with such famous acting mentors in his corner.

“Tom is so proud of Connor,” says a source. “He’s proud of him for really doing this on his own.”
