It was about 2:30am (maybe later) and I had just left a JD video shoot for So Much Swagg (featuring: Trey Songz, Jonte Austin, Tyrone and B. Cox). I figured I’d make a pit stop before heading home, so I was in route. Almost to my destination, I pulled up to a light on MLK. I looked over to my left and at another car that was already waiting for the light to turn green, and that’s when I saw HER. She glanced over, not once, but twice. Now you know what that means. Immediately, I rolled down my window and……
Me: Hello.
She rolled her window down.
Her: Hello.
Me: You are absolutely beautiful.
Her: Thank you.
Me: You from Atlanta?
Her: Yup. Born and raised. Where are you from?
Me: Well, I live in Atlanta now.
Her: (real firm) But where are you from?
Me: New York.
The light turns green and as she begins to pull off she says, “It was nice meeting you.”
Left sitting at the light, I contemplated back and forth between making my originally intended left hand turn and simply letting her go, or catching up to Her and pursuing what I thought started out as a very good conversation. I went for the latter and my plans had changed in an instant as I pulled off in her direction. I caught up to her at the next light, but now I was on the opposite side of Her. I rolled down my driver’s side window.
Her: Did you just follow me?
Me: And I’m not ashamed of it either. It feels like destiny.
Her: (laughing) Destiny?
Me: Yea. Do you believe in destiny?
She just laughed.
Me: What’s your name?
Her: What’s your name?
Me: My name is Rahshah.
Her: Nice to meet you Rahshah. My name is Algebra.
Me: Algebra?
Algebra: Yes, Algebra.
Me: What do you do?
Algebra: I just live life (laughing).
Me: I met someone with that name before.
Algebra: What did she do?
Me: She was a singer. R&B. Guitar. It was a long time ago. I think I met her in New York.
Algebra: Well, it’s nice to meet you, again. That is if I met you before, Rahshah.
Me: Ooh, that’s you?
Our conversation, which was about 10mins, goes on for a bit more before cars start pulling up behind us and the pressure to end our “under the green light chat” is met with some people blowing their horns. In closing, Algebra was absolutely stunning that night. Her look, her manner, her style, were at peak performance and she is undoubtedly worth this mention. She spoke about her music and future projects in the works. Before she pulled off I made it a point to stress that we will see each other again.

She has finally done it… Keyshia Cole has made it to THE THINGS THAT I WOULD DO section. This just proves my theory… money, water and exercise can make ANY one look great. She was always cute, but she is BANGIN NOW
